Episode 6 - What Is Vermiculture and How Does It Help The Planet? with Cathy Nesbitt

This episode features Cathy NesbittĀ on the Ready.Set.Glo! Podcast šŸ’«

In this conversation, Cathy Nesbitt talks to us about worms. Yes, you read that right, WORMS!

Cathy Nesbitt is a worm farmer, a worm advocate who insists worms are the original Alchemist, and she is the founder of Cathy's Crawly Composters (est 2002). Cathy is on a mission to put worms in every living space. She believes vermicomposting is going to play an ever-increasing role in waste management, soil production, and food security. Food waste is a simple way that we can mitigate climate change and create 'black gold' to grow more delicious, nutritious food. A worm composter offers a tremendous learning opportunity for all ages.

Not only does Cathy take steps to make the world a cleaner place but she also stressed the importance of laughter. As a Laughter Yoga Teacher, Cathy incorporates brain gym, tapping (EFT), and other healing modalities. Laughter is the best medicine. It raises our vibration so we can feel better. When we feel good, we do good, when we do good, everyone wins.
